To the men: do you use your pochette?

hey... after seeing this post...i am getting a mini pochette tomoorrow to put in my jeans back pocket... LV boutique says its only comes in MONO and DAMIER deisgn... is it true?

I bought a mini pochette to put inside my naviglio to hold pens, gum, lip balm, ipod etc, and when I travel I attach it to my keepall and it holds my passport, boarding pass etc. Sometimes I just put my cles into it with gum and lipbalm and attach it to the back 2 belt loops of jeans and let it hang off, it looks quite good that way. I tried fitting it into my pocket like LMM but it doesn't fit lol

The pochette florentine looks good, and it can aslo worn around the waist with a belt.
But is there a belt with the pochette or do you have to buy them seperately?

the mini pochette comes with a chain and a clasp....from what i seen...

I wanted to buy a mini pochette in damier ebene. I was going to remove the chain and use it for travel. But I am not sure if it is worth the price of $280, if I am going to only use it a few times out of the year. advice?
