In Germayn they charge 24% of the packet value incl. shipping on duties but if you're lucky they don't pick your parcel but this doesn't happen very often. That's why I don't buy from outside the E.U.

i'm in canada, nope didnt have to pay customs. Not sure if it was due to the price of the item or not.

I have received packages from all over the world, and have escaped custom as well as being caught. I think they pick randomly, so it really depends on your luck.

Having said that, I try to ask the sender (for that be the seller or my family) to declare the item as gift or sometime commerical samples now to escape custom.

Yah. You can email him and he can sell direct from his website or list it on Ebay for you, if it's not listed there already.

Yes, you can request anything. Most LV sellers do that. I have had my customers ask me for things as well.
