Please give your liposuction experience here (looking for lipo clinic)

I got full body lipo from PB last year. I didn’t find many reviews on theM either other than a lot of locals go there. wen I did my research I found them out from Misooda first. I also came across 360Mc global. I emailed both 360 and PB and ended up choosing PB after consultation . I am glad I did because the consultant that I met and doctors/nurses there were amazing. I have been meaning to write a full review which I will be doing shortly To provide my experience.

It has been a full 6 months since having thigh liposuction in Seoul! I couldn't be happier with my results! Honestly! It was my first cosmetic procedure ever, so I was very nervous, but it all turned out amazing! My doctor was highly skilled and the hospital by far the most professional in Seoul. 365mc only does lipo and after doing a lot of research to find the best place, I am so glad I chose them. Some friends of mine had gotten theirs done here, so it made me feel even safer because they all had amazing results too. The recovery was not bad and I feel like my full results came out around 3-4 months! I finally have a proportional shape and thigh gap! My stretch marks are also less noticable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who struggled to loose fat in a specific area (like I had struggled for years).
this clinic is quite famous I heard a lot about it,, since I'm struggling with my belly hard fat I will make a reservation as soon as possible to have a better body looking

Hi! I am having torso lipo done in Seoul in January. I have been botched here in the US, so I really want and need good results. So far, only TL is on my list.

If you have had liposuction in Seoul please give what make you choose the clinic you did and your results. If you've done a thread already, please put the link here. Thank you!
I'm living in Seoul and soon and 2 of my friends did liposuction in 365mc hospital they are Specialist in liposuction, recently I'm thinking to do my lower abdomen too so if you would like to know more information you can check their Instagram or website quite famous hospital

I did mine at pretty body in Seoul - they specialize in body contouring which was special. Other clinics just will take out fat but don't think about the shape of your body. They were being really strategic here about where to take out the fat. I swelled up alot in my thighs, but they took good care of me. Angelina and Hyelim are the people who will take good care of you. I'm still waiting for my legs to heal but I'm overall happy. You have to ask for Dr. Jung - he is the most experienced, and he is super patient in answering all your questions. Also definitely recommend their after care service - you'll definitely want some of those anti-swelling treatments.

yes exactly the care service is the key of good result not only surgery

If she gets 30% off it would be 20 grand. Korean clinics charge 2000-3000 usd for each part so I did some calculations and 20 mln KrW is okay price. Is it really cheaper like that in the States or UK? In my country (asian) it is super cheap like I paid 4000 usd for belly with sides and upper arm. Unfortunately my body got botched 10% on belly, 50% on arms since surgeon took only one side of fat, it wasn’t 360 lipo.

may i ask you a question about upper arm lipo? i am planning to do this soon.

@Missynlulu
My plan was to go for a full body liposuction and it was down to Dr Kasey and Laprin.

However, Laprin informed me that Dr Choi YH was unavailable and suggested Dr Lee HW would be the one performing. So I eventually just went with my gut and decided on Dr Kasey instead.

I contacted him via Kakaotalk.

Dr Kasey only specialises in lipo, body sculpting surgery, fat grafting and stem cells with experience since 2002, has conducted multiple live surgeries/conferences in this area annually since 2003 and wrote a book on liposculpting in 2008. That's as much as I could only manage to find online, so hope it helps!

Something to note: The size of the clinic is exactly as what you would find with google photos, located on the 2nd floor.

Upon consultation, we discussed my main areas of concern in that order - abdomen, thighs and arms. He explained that I didn't require as much lipo as I thought I did but fully understood that my abdomen and thighs were my priority. I came with a list of questions ready ( eg 1 or 2 ops required, length of operation, sedation vs GA, recovery time, type of liposuction, how many scars, ...) and he was patient throughout, explaining in full detail (I think I spent at least 20mins just on my Q&A). After much discussion, he informed me that he could perform the op in a day instead of splitting into 2 ops, a week apart.

It was my first time going for an operation and personally, I felt much more assured after the F2F consultation for 2 reasons. One, I needed a doctor who would be patient and explain everything in detail without brushing me off (I heard that consultations can be as short as 2 mins in some hospitals) and two, because of his experience and specialisation.

Btw I did consider PBC & 365mc but the both were too pricey for me. If I didn't have a budget then I would totally go for 365!

If you have any other questions, feel free to reply/pm me!

Hi, how can I contact Dr Kasey for a quote? Thank you.

Hi, any opinion on Pretty Body Clinic for a full body liposuction ? I'm considering their clinic for a lipo in 2021 but I can't find a lot of reviews for full body liposuctions there.
I'm not sure if you still need any reviews for this! Here is mine!

I was actually considering PBC vs 360. The pricing in general was ok I guess, much cheaper in my home country (Singapore) but PBC's service exceeded all my expectations and also the main reason I went with PBC.

Due to covid, there wasn't any way of entry to Korea during that time (only after November 2021 they allowed entry in). And my first enquiry to the 2 clinics were in November 2020. PBC was the only one to maintain contact with me throughout, actively answered all my enquiries and got me pumped to get to Korea. The staff replying via their Instagram (I believe is Hyelim) was so friendly and I was glad to be able to go through all my questions before confirming and placing a deposit (I am paranoid). I had only planned 6 days for the trip due to the lack of vacation days. My itinerary was something like this:

Day 1 (day of arrival in Korea) - Quarantine day (awaiting for PCR swab test result)
Day 2 - #1 op
Day 3 - Post-op checkup and shopping
Day 4 - Shopping
Day 5 - #2 op
Day 6 - Post-op checkup and departure from Korea

I did full body liposuction, face graft and also my eyelids in early-January 2022. Initially I wanted to do double chin liposuction however Angelina pointed out that I don't actually have a double chin till I press it down and kinda force it out. So she recommended face graft because I had 2 lines on my forehead from excessive frowning (my default face). Her recommendation was so great because, man, my face looks so much better. Angelina takes a look at my photos, my goals and makes suggestions from there.

I removed 15,000cc of fat over 2 ops. Dr Jung - an incredible and very professional man. He did as much as he could with me and I'm so happy. If it helps, I was at 40% fat count @90kg. He came to check in on me and my stitches. Very nice man.

Pain is inevitable during post recovery. I was having 2nd thoughts before my 1st surgery because I was alone in Korea and I didn't know what to do with the pain. BUT I got through it. I even managed to go shopping for 2 days straight after my 1st op. YOU WILL FACE PAIN DURING RECOVERY with limited movement that are pain free. But I was telling myself 'beauty over pain'. Hahahaha.

Hyelim took care of me from start to end. She always dropped me text messages, asking if I was all right, if I needed anything. The nurses there don't speak much English BUT they are very gentle and nice. To be frank, all the staff in the office - from the receptionist to the camera girl (taking your pre-op photos) to the nurses to the woman who measures your shapewear - I can guarantee they are 100% nice people.

It's after 8-9 weeks now. I look better. My husband's happier. I've lost close to 10kg from my pre-op weight without actual exercise as of yet (do note that the cc removed does not equate to kg/lb on scale). I have had some binging periods (lunar new year, and my family's birthdays who happen to fall mostly in February) so 10kg could be better if I didn't eat so much... Overall, 100% recommend PBC and will be going back for my next few surgeries after I have my second child. BBL and boobs, here I come!!!

My advice: When you're on the way home via plane, don't wear tight shoes. I made a large mistake wearing tight shoes along with the compression garment and winter wear then, and when I got home, my feet were swollen like sausages.

2nd advice for ALL: if you are intending to do eyelids at any clinic (mine was a last minute decision), bring sunglasses because your eyes get incredibly sensitive after. Korea has a lot of underground malls hence a lot of lights, so even then you'll need sunglasses. It helped me tremendously with the sensitivity. Do note that they will put ointment in your eyes during recovery and it gets a bit blurry.

Hi @raquelcc! Thanks for your really in-depth review  Would you be comfortable sharing B&A photos? I notice that you returned to Singapore before removing your stitches due to time constraints. Where and when did you get your stitches removed, and how much did you pay? I'm also from Singapore so any guidance would be appreciated. TIA!

Yes! I will attach some photos later!!

Yeah I removed them at my nearest polyclinic. Cost me about $20-25! I went for a doctor's consultation and was referred to the nurses who helped me to remove my stitches. Because the stitches are really close to the skin, it might pinch a bit. My stitches were embedded to the skin (had some crusting because I didn't do a good job cleaning them on my own) so it was a bit painful. I had a total of 34 stitches - 1-2 stitches on 17 areas.

Wow that’s cheaper than I thought! That was really helpful. Looking forward to your pics! Could you also tell me how much you paid in total, and if you’re experiencing any skin issues? (Sagging, laxity etc) If you prefer to share in DMs, my inbox is open!

Yes!! I was googling and found private clinic who charges $40-80sgd per stitch removed. Polyclinics are our lifesavers, I swear.

For the lipo itself, slightly over $17000sgd and eyelid surgery was $1700usd (forgot the conversion). I don't have much sagging or issues. I still do have fat but I have areas that still swollen, so waiting for the best effect after 6-12months!! I think because I have too much fat, so I have to do more to look better. Overall my body looks even, no unevenness.

I have requested for my full body pics from PBC to show you, will send you via DM once I've received!! Prior to my surgery, I didn't really like to take full body pics haha. Will also update how much fat loss % I have soon.
