My First LV... Any Suggestions?

I am going to get the mono speedy 30 as my first and are worried about the handles as well, but plan on using the leather protectant! that should help quite a bit :smile:

Wow! Thanx for all the help! I always thought that the speedy was essential LV, but I can do without it if it makes the handles all gross. I do, however, like the idea of wrapping a scarf around the handles. I think the Damier pattern is beautiful and I love the Batigolles Horizontal! I'll probably be heading to the LV store sometimes this weekend, so we'll see which one really pops out at me there. hehehehe... I'll keep you all updated! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!:yahoo:
