Books & Music Most Embarrassing Songs on Your iPod/MP3 Player

Anything by James Blunt - I wouldn't want it to become generally known that I actually like some of the songs, and enjoyed the concert ...

But Springsteen and Dire Straits are unquestionably cool!

I have that Flo-rida song too! Oh & I just remembered something more embarassing I have on mine.. The Ying Yang Twins!!! The lyrics are sooo awful, I always have to skip over them if other people are around when they come on! LOL

I have Romeo and Juliet by the Dire Straights on my ipod too. I have been obsessed with that song since Empire Records.
My DD keeps adding things to my ipod and it drives me crazy! The newest one was Kiss the girl by Ashley Tisdale. I'll take the original any day over Ashley.

ALL of the completely dirty, offensive, and just plain wrong rap music that make up 1/4 of my iPod.. blame it on the beat :shame:

"Cococabana" (or whatever the name is) by Barry Manilow. Barry Manilow!

Her name was Lola.. she was a show girl.. :Push:

I'm full of embarrassment:shame:
I am very, very picky when it comes to music in real life, but my ipod is an whole other story. I mostly listen to music that hasn't played in 10+ years. The Pixies, Alice in chains, Mudhoney, old RHCP,ect...
Well my ipod has some different stuff on it including:
-Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot
-Groove is in the Heart by De-lite
- Old Elton John
and a pretty major sampling of 80's hair rock.

The kicker is Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus. I sing that one in my car at the top of my lungs on a daily basis.

I have ALL of these! But my most embarassing is probably "Man! I feel like a woman" or "That don't impress me much" by Shania Twain. Oh, and I have a LOT of 80's music... a lot of old Madonna.... including that song that's just about dirty screwing, what's it called...?

Ragamuffin, Romeo & Juliet is one of my favorite songs EVER. We have similar taste!

With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there?

(Copacabana.)

I love them all but some I've gotten some flack about:

Ice, Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice
Poison - Bell Biv Devoe
Nothing in This World - Paris Hilton
Gimmie da Loot - Notorious BIG (Lots of cursing:shame:smile:
All for Love - Color Me Badd (LOVE THIS SONG!)
and
Men at Work, Britney Spears. Various ShowTunes....you get the idea.

The New Monkees, the short lived group from 1987. They were my favorites when I was 12, listening to them makes me HAPPY!!

Also, I have the Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Once More With Feeling songs on my ipod.

I have Marie Osmond (the 70s) and the Bay City Rollers (those are my shameful ones lol) but the rest, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Maytal and the Toots ("Beautiful Woman") is my absolute fave and the lyrics are so funny. One of my BF group plays this and it's jamming.
Here are the lyrics:
Yeah she's such a beautiful woman
And she has so many ugly men
And when she goes to the market place
She'd leave all character at home.
And when she starts her conversation
Everyone of her friends would cry of shame
And she walks like a lady,
Acts like a lady, don't ask me why

(sing along)
Beautiful woman, beautiful woman, beautiful woman
Will drive you crazy

Look here! Here come Billy
And he's one of her ugly men
He says 'hello friend'
Then I began to tell the story
About this beautiful woman that I have seen
Then Billy turns to me and says:
'Looks like ev'ry woman is the same'
Then I shake my head and say:
'No Billy, let me tell you, I can't believe
ev'ry woman could be the same'

-chorus-

Look here! Here comes good ole Sam
Comes to town, meets this girl, falls in love
And the girl keep driving him crazy
She just actin' like a lady for a short while
And she walks like a lady, acts like a lady
Don't ask me why
But I know that when she gets warmed up,
Then she gets started
Then she gets crazy
She'll take off every piece of her clothes in the street

(sing along) chorus....

LOL
