LV paper bags now MADE IN CHINA

Of all my years of buying LV, I never until recently kept a box. And I sure as hell don't look at where it was made at. LOL

Agree-I throw away the bags and the boxes-after my cats play in them.

I am sorry....but I have to agree with bagaholicboy. What's the point of this? It's only a shopping bag, do we really care where it's made in?

I really don’t care about the packaging. I have so many boxes and bags already that I have started refusing it all together especially if I am walking. I like how Hermes is giving plain white bags so you feel less conspicuous exiting the store.

I thought the shopping bags have been made in China for a while. Just the brown bags though, the actual LV handbags etc will never be made in China.

Keep in mind this is a very old thread that was recently resurrected. The OP’ s opening comments are most likely dated information by now, 2023 going on 2024. I have recently decluttered so I can’t check my old boxes, but I believe there is a more current thread that may have discussed the origins of some of the packaging. That OP was a design specialist or something related to packaging. Anyways, if memory serves, I think Hungary was a country thrown out there as a point of origin as well nowadays.
