Hard To Believe This Was Once Considered Appropriate Advertising

(I am so OT, sorry....)

I don't think that's the case, it's probably strange that more pedophiles aren't around actually...throughout history, girls would be married off when they hit puberty, in ancient times KIDS were married off. I think that, biologically, men are somehow programmed to like young females...don't bash me, but pedophilia is not shocking to me because back then these old men would have married these little girls instead of now kidnapping and raping them. disgusting.

YEAP!!! Still disgusting and I know it is still happening in some backwards cultures... I would never want any of my future kids (daughters to be a kid exposed to adult sleezy behaviors nor sons becoming old men marrying/dating young gals) exposed to it. Ewwww!

The one with the bloody kid made me laugh (oh that seems so wrong just typing it).

I was recently looking through Radar magazine and they were showing some of the ads, for very legitimate businesses, that were being advertised in magazines for gay men. They were pretty risque as well.

There is a very interesting film (from a woman's speech) that shows women in advertising, and it is really worth seeing. Now... if only I could remember what it was called! If I can think of it I will post again. Anyhow, it showed how women are portrayed in advertising, how it affects us (and men, for that matter) and the images we get from advertising, etc.

edit: Found it! It's called "Killing us Softly," and here's the wikipedia link to the woman who made it:
