These are the hills behind our neighborhood. With all So. Cal's rain in the past month, (Praise God!), these hills are green for the first time in YEARS!!

It rained last night...this is what we woke up to. Isn't it purty?

edit: DH just told me that you can't see that they are green. Grr. Anyway, they are...I had to take these through the screen. Here is one more.

Oddly I thought this looked familiar. An ex-boyfriend's parents live in Charlottesville on a golf course and I went there with him one year for Thanksgiving.

This a was taken on the flight deck of my ship on deployment.I would come out here everynight and think of my husband and kids while I was gone and praying that they were ok.

I grew up in NorCal but have lived near Seattle for almost 20 years.
