Fendi B bag question

What is the asking price for the medium Fendi B. in tan/black leather? I can't find them on any "official" sites but I do know of someone selling it for $1,699. It's authentic but I wanted to know if he's selling it for more or less than the original asking price.

I like the B, but I wish the buckles were pockets.. at first i thought they were but ehh I was wrong. I like the medium one better.. the large looks too bigg for the dainty looking straps. Looks like the straps might snap.

I bought my brown calfskin medium in Paris for 1300 euros minus 12% detaxe. But I went through a lot of trouble getting it because of the limited quantity of B.Fendis. I called the boutique in rue de Montaigne and was told they were expecting only 2 pieces in full leather (I didn't want linen or any other materials) coming in the following Friday. They wouldn't hold for me, so I had to go down on that Friday itself at 10am sharp when the store opened. And I did. Missed a class because of it. The other one sold out during that weekend.

So I'm not sure about B.Fendis. The price could be higher if it is a limited or sold out version because they don't repeat designs. You might want to bear that in mind when picking out one for yourself.

It's $1850 at my local Bloomingdale's & Fendi boutique; I really regret not getting it during Bloomies F&F event recently (20% off). It's available at Styledrops for $1699.
