I love the details of the flowers, her gown and the dog. I love her facial expression! It's almost like he wrote her something OTHER than "Roses are red . . . "

I think the myth was that he was staring at his reflection in a pool of water for too long that he fell in and drowned. (And THEN the gods turned him into a flower).

I love pin-up art! It shows women to be sexy and sensual. It's risque but it's not lewd and crude. (Like Playboy). They're not always naked but even if they were, they weren't objectified.
