do you think this dress will look nice if i have it shorten?

I definitely prefer that dress long, I'm not sure if it would look the best short. I just looooove Vera Wang though. I've been eyeing an evening gown of hers for quite some time now, in fact I was just blogging about it the other day.

Now I just need an excuse to go buy it.

I think the bottom of that dress is a big part of what makes it so pretty. If you hemmed it at the knee, the dress would look very plain. I think it would look okay, but it's better as is IMO.

I think I'd like it better long, especially because it flares at the bottom. If you shorten it, it's definitely going to lose the flare, which to my belief, is the focal point of this dress.

I think it would be better to leave it long. If you can post a pic to show us how it looks like on you IRL, we could give better suggestion.
