In October, I was chatting with one of my sisters and she HAPPENED to mention that my 2 nieces would love crocheted blankets for Christmas, and that my youngest niece (13) loves anything homemade or handmade.
After the initial shock (considering the time frame), I got to work, and completed my project the first week in December. Happy nieces, happy life! LOL!
(The blankets and pillows match their wall colors.)
