What size/shape did you get???
Sorry, I'm total newb - the Chanel Kelly comes in different sizes??
oh.. and same as the others - Caviar if you think you'll be wearing it often, Lambskin if you think you'll be able to handle the babying it requires!
Do a search under KELLY in the Chanel area. About two weeks ago it was KELLY fever. There are alot of threads and pictures

Congrats on your new bag! Great choice! I love the look of lambskin, but I don't think I'll ever buy lambskin for an everyday bag because I hate to see scratches on my bags. Although, I would condsider it for a bag that I will carry occasionally. I love the durability of caviar. 
I think the Kelly is a gorgeous bag in either leather--I'm hoping to get one too.
I think I would choose the caviar leather, because as already mentioned, it is a classic bag you will likely use a lot, and the caviar will hold up better.

what I found, and anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong,
is right now there is only the small one in lambskin w/silver hardware and the large one in caviar with gold or silver hardware ... and there is also a different shaped one, taller and more square shaped in caviar with gold hardware ... this one used to be made in lambskin but hasn't been in production since 04 ... at least this is the information I could find in my extensive research of the Chanel Kelly
