Agreed, it's very awkward. I don't really understand the point of it either.

A guy buying expensive bags for a large group of women sounds just plain weird. I don't know if this thread's intent is to breed jealousy or validate greed but at any rate, I wouldn't want a friend of my boyfriend's to buy me a bag. It would be insulting to my bf. I think it's better this way.
