Please consider making contributions elsewhere on the forum - we are a very small group of authenticators and really prefer to spend our limited volunteer time helping those members who are active in more than just asking for authentication. Thanks for your understanding.

I'm sorry to have asked 2 times for authenticating something. I discovered this forum when I was looking for a website that said where/if I could authenticate a Hermes. I've been a member for just 2 days, so you can't expect me to have 5000 posts already. I promised that I would be active, and I AM exploring this website. So please don't treat me as if I am taking advantage of this website by just asking 2 times for authentication. If you don't want to authenticate my request, just say it. Thank you for understanding.

Hi,

It is very difficult to review with only two photos of the handbag. Please ask the seller for additional pictures.

Per Forum Requirements:

PICTURES: All these pictures are required for all authentications.

- All relevant views of item
- Hardware with any Hermes markings
- Craftsman stamp
- Hermes stamp and stitching (if the latter is present on the item)
- Clear pictures of inside and outside of item

Pictures should be clear, taken straight on, not an an angle, in good light and with the macro function of the camera.

If the pictures are inadequate, authenticators may skip your request. For more information on how to post photos. visit this thread: Posting Photos

My suggestion is to participate in threads other than authentication threads. You see, if you are asking for authentication yourself, its clear that you are still learning. Your opinions may confuse those posters who are accustomed to see only certain members give authentication advice, you understand?

There are literally tons of threads to chat in that have nothing to do with actual authentication. That's where I would hope you find plenty to say, look forward to your contributions!

I have learned a lot about Hermes from you and others and knew immediately by looking at the pictures it was very fake. I was told to participate in the threads (which I have been actively doing and not just authentication threads), so I am sorry if I stepped on any toes. Just really trying to help. I will not do any authenticating here in this forum and will help out where I can. Please look at my other contributions on the various discussion boards. I am really trying to do my best. I would also like to clarify that I have only asked for two, maybe three handbags be authenticated since joining this wonderful group of people. I did not think it was too excessive. I am truly sorry!
