Advice on First LV Bag

I'd buy the bag based on what YOU like, not whether others will recognize it or not.
That said, I'd probably go for the Lockit, or even the Batignolles Horizontal if you want less vachetta.

I will likely go to a boutique. There's one a few hours away and I would like to see them in person before I make the purchase. I know that I can always buy another one 
and probably will, but I just thought I would ask the experts.
It's hard to judge how the bag will hang and hold up when you're just looking at it in a store . . .
I'll definately let you all know what I get and probably a photo journal of the event as well. My mom already has it planned as an outing hehe

Welcome!! I'm glad you're actually going to the LV boutique and trying on these bags and some others so you'll have an idea. For your first LV, I would suggest a monogram bag --- the Lockit is certainly a great choice! Good luck!!
