but it had to do with the stage she was in career-wise, right? she is spectacular and she would have looked great back then too but is he implying that they would have dressed someone else who was basically unknown?

and he knows this! he said himself they said she was too green. I think he is still pressed because even now he says she has never worn those designers - on a major red carpet. but it was pointed out that she has worn most of them for other things.
