So i bought the medium latte and i was checking the stitching
The handles stitching is a bit like thus
Bag has no creases at all and alignment of the flap is perfect
Has anyone else have this issue on the underside of the handles?

As far I know leather is hand stitched and there can be some imperfections.
I think it’s not an issue.

That makes me feel better
Also i circled a little frayed stitch that us what im worried about in the long run
Its more of a thread underneath the main thread

My apologies if I'm reviving an old thread, but I would be very surprised if the leather were hand-stitched. That kind of workmanship at the YSL scale/price-point is pretty much impossible. I also think I can see the lock-stitch peaking through on one of the pictures, which is a machine-created stitch, not a hand stitch. And even if it were hand-stitched, the thread should not be fraying. The uneven stitches wouldn't bother me, but a fraying stitch would. I would bring this to a boutique to have it looked at, personally.

That’s interesting. It makes sense what you said but SA in boutique told me about this hand-stitching when I asked similar question about other bag

I could be wrong, I'm not an expert. But it seems that hand-stitching is extremely rare. Think Hermes Birkin/Kelly (but not other Hermes bags), some exotic bags (I think exotic Fendi peekaboos may be hand-stitched, based on this video, and the external stitching on Selleria peekaboos looks hand-stitched to me), some more niche heritage brands (here's a short thread on it), and some contrast stitching or embellishments on other bags. But a hand-stitched, non-contrast/plain strap on a non-exotic, mass-produced YSL bag seems extremely unlikely to me. I don't know how to explain what the SA said. Perhaps (s)he was mistaken, or perhaps (s)he said "handmade" rather than "hand-stitched."
