A minute hand is a minimum for me. For automatic watches, a solid gold rotor is requirement. I also have a strong preference for microrotors. For quartz, each tick needs to hit all the markers. Anything else is a bonus!

Here are the three watches that I have owned as an adult. The oldest being 26 years old now and the Dive being only a week old.
From looking at these, and a silver and grey BabyG that I wore for a few years, it seems obvious that I like a watch with a dark face and one that has markers rather than numerals.
My dream watch is an Omega Seamaster with black MOP face.
I wonder what the psychology is behind this?
And these are all Guccis! 'Cept for the said BabyG of course. Mine has all been MoP faces although I do like dark faces too. Thanks for the photo!
