A minute hand is a minimum for me. For automatic watches, a solid gold rotor is requirement. I also have a strong preference for microrotors. For quartz, each tick needs to hit all the markers. Anything else is a bonus!

I love watches with round face with white dials. Not too big, a feminine size. Preferably with a metal band and locking clasp... rolex's lady datejust is just about my ideal for an everyday watch.
Sadly, the only watch I currently own is a Garmin Vivoactive. lol It's so ugly, but so practical.

Here are the three watches that I have owned as an adult. The oldest being 26 years old now and the Dive being only a week old.
From looking at these, and a silver and grey BabyG that I wore for a few years, it seems obvious that I like a watch with a dark face and one that has markers rather than numerals.

Yes, they're all Gucci's, although I wasn't specifically looking to get a Gucci on any occasion. I actually looked at the full range of options each time.
I like a MOP face too, but I always seem to go for the dark face. Maybe I want a contrast to my own face?
