Hello! I’m not a Bal girl at heart and I didn’t own any Bal bags, but I had been dreaming about a Part Time or a City with giant hardware for quite some time. A few days ago I was able to get this beauty preloved the color is beautiful and the hardware is almost perfect! There’s only some discoloration on the zipper. I’m super happy! You're really super sweet, Iamminda! Thank you! I'm very excited about this Bal! She actually looks kind of a VERY dark navy or something like that, but I don't know for sure, because I barely know anything about Balenciaga colors. Maybe she's black indeed [emoji23] She's beautiful anyway!

You can also wear it on your shoulder by the handles! (which i usually do) That will help prevent the top opening edge from "cracking"

I carry my City bags on the arm/wrist so I don't see this type of wear, but some I buy pre-owned & are already cracked.....and now I finally know why......duh to me!

Well, if you use the shoulder strap, the bag will actually "cramp" towards center & thus will create bending / folding at the top opening. That will cause cracking of the top edge.
