The diagonal was the first year they were made. The following year they were straight across. I love the look of the diagonal straps.

I love the look, too! My Sophia's all have the diagonal straps. It's such a pretty style and I feel really good when I'm carrying mine. I miss bags like Sophia, where the design, leather, hardware and lining all came together in a gorgeous moment, for me anyways. Although I like quite like some of the newer Coach styles, and love my older Ergo Legacy Tote, my heart is stuck in 2010, when I bought my first Sophia.
Leather Sophia, Leather Ashley, the Poppy collection. That was a fun collection. I like the totes of the Poppy collection too!

I love the brown suede one, have never seen the orange leather! I saw an apple green suede one on the Bay area long time ago and kick myself for not getting it!

I think it looks more of a peachy coral orange in person. My camera makes the color look more saturated/ pigmented than it actually is. #13776

Amazing find! I think I've only seen this color once or twice. There is also a turquoise suede and a light blue suede that doesn't have the striped lining.
