Eric -- Approachable. No BS. Comes across as humble. Answered questions and took stuff out to look at. He has 8 years with Hermes and is in management. If you just walk in, he is the taller of the guys and his hair is cut very close (almost shaved). He says his schedule is variable, so if you want him, you might call ahead to check scheduling.
Before talking with him, I was getting the standard Hermes game/bs from the other associate and DH started toying with him after DH recognized the run around. The run around was strange since I didn't even want to order. It was sort of like the subtext of what he was saying go back to BH where you belong. Sent DH away and I walked to back of store examining displays. Eric was giving me approachable looks so I started over with him. I was a much better experience.
While I was in there, I think I heard an older asian woman associate taking a kelly order from an unaccompanied husband who clearly did not have a relationship. Maybe it was just an "i'll call you if something comes in" but it seemed awfully specific in the discussion about sellier vs retourne. I thought this was pretty interesting since the first associate had done everything he could to try to talk me out of ordering, and I wasn't even there to order. I just wanted to look at the leather book and the displays. I have read on other thread that there is an older asian female associate in vegas that people really like and that she has transfered from one store to another. Maybe this is her. If you want to try to order, she might be a good bet.
