When I was in my late teens/early 20s I worshipped Miroslava Duma - I learnt a lot about what pieces worked well for short heights and her early ingenuity with mixing pieces, I bought a lot of designer pieces that she wore... her Hermes Croc Birkin 35 is still my ultimate holy grail.

As I've entered my 30s now, I really appreciate the styles of Brittany Bathgate (instagram but I love her play with volume and structure), Sienna Miller, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Victoria Beckham all come to mind.

When I'm going for a classic, clean-cut American look, it's definitely photographer Peter Beard.

When I want something that feels effortless and Parisian, it's fashion editor Olivier Lalanne.

I’m sort of on the opposite vibe of the style spectrum from a lot of the blazers and monochrome though I will say I love black best colour for clothes ever.

I seem to be attracted to a lot of feminine, floaty energy (with a bit of tomboy every now and again.)

No 1 empress of the kaftan and carats, queen of the mumu and the magnum: Elizabeth Taylor. She was just so beautiful.

Pretty much any actress in the golden age of Hollywood dressed incredibly - so shout out to the 30s to 50s for the great feminine styles

I only really look at the Met gala pics to see what Rihanna and Cardi B wore so they need credit for that. Everyday style- I think Rihanna has more memorable looks but I prefer Cardi’s more intense colour palette. That said I’m kind of subtracting style points for all the revealing clothes because it’s not my ideal fit: I want more gorgeous fabric on me not my goosepimpled skin!

Bjork- she’s cool. She’s pretty mainstream but she lives and breathes art. It’s impressive.

Queen Latifah - I like both the tomboy looks and the elegant gowns she’s very versatile.

It is probably a cliche to say Jane Birkin but Jane Birkin… like silk evening gown or minidress with a straw basket era Jane Birkin. I think she started to dress more simply as she got older and the bag sort of took over her look which is fine obviously it’s her life… but to me basket full of cigs and apples with her giant fringe was the best look.

Also in general, anyone who makes their own clothes, anyone who embellishes their clothes or does patchwork and up cycling- that rules.

I also need to shout out chef Rocco DiSpirito - I love all of the essentials he listed - perfect! I'd just add a classic Lacoste polo and a Smythson notebook. I'm going to try to make his mom's meatball recipe soon.

Love Charlotte Gainsbourg @Pollie-Jean and I did not know about Verushka @papertiger floored by the gucci photo. I also love Lauren Baccal in every sense of the word - beautiful, gracious, feminine and strong all in one.
Adding Christy Turlington here because she is not only incredibly photogenic and a role-model but I feel calmer just looking at her...
she was my favorite in the super model era (compared to Naomi, Cindy, et al)
