Hey ladies and gents! I'm currently in the market for a mid to high heeled pair of ankle boots that can be walked in for a whole day, or at the very least, 8 hours.

My go-to brand is Clarks and Frye for comfort, but I'd like to hear your experiences and favorites!

I have a pair of Born booties with a 2-3" heel that are SO comfortable. I can walk miles in them. But they're a few years old and I can't say any Born boots would be like that. I have another pair that I bought later - different style but similar heel - and they aren't the same at all

Acne Pistols without a doubt
How do they feel on you? Any tightness near the toe box? Doesn't irritate your ankle?

I've seen so many Born boots but haven't gone out recently to try since covid and all that. I'll keep an eye out!

stuart weitzman for city...blundstone for more rugged activity
I heard a lot about Blundstone but how's Stuart Weitzman's overall comfort for you? Is there any difference in the sole or the insole inside?

The Stuart Weitzman pair I have (around 4 yrs old) is flat, black calf leather knee high boot...very classic looking, not over-the-knee style. I think the comfort comes from the sole (decent thickness rubber), the calf width (I have rather thin calves and they fit well), and toe shape (not super pointy). They're just as comfy as sneakers to me.

No, on me they are perfect.

My most comfortable shoes are by Paul Green (available at Nordstrom). I have several pairs of their boots and sneakers and they are all comfortable. They are my go-to shoes for travel or a long day of walking.

I also have the Acne Pistol boots and Acne Jensen boots but for me, while I love the look, they are not as comfortable as Paul Green.

I think it really comes down to finding a brand that fits the shape of your foot.
