Omg I love this! What a cool time capsule yearbook post. As much as I love online shopping, there’s still nothing like being able to see the products in person (and customer service felt way better back then)... or Barneys in general (East Coast baby here, hehe)!

I went to a private college in LA, so I’d usually tag along with my friends who regularly shopped there and made mental notes of everything I wanted lol. I remember my first purchase was a pair of shoes, but I can’t remember the brand 😭

I was in NYC for my birthday one year, I was determined to get a Bal on that trip. Visited Barneys, Bergdorf and then Saks, found this beauty. When I went to pay, my SA had a really confused look on her face and grabbed a manager. It rang up at 50% off (sale price was not marked and I was prepared to pay full SRP). I'm guessing because they had just recently discontinued the Town? Needless to say, I was on Cloud 9 leaving Saks with my dream bag in tow.

I have a SS04 jacket in black silk satin and leather cuffs and a AW06 wool skirt from the runway but I don't have a pic handy of those. I also have a 2008 Holiday Edition silver Bowling but didn't buy it till 09, I think the boots are 06(?).
