on the handwash setting. The two were looking a bit grimy after their constant use, and i decided to give it a go as I needed them cleaned like, now. It worked great. Hung them up to dry dripping wet, 2 hrs later they look as good as new. Just sayin'.

Oh my gosh, I'm glad it turned out well! Are they silk? Because I have to admit I've gotten in that mood and handwashed silk items that weren't supposed to be immersed, haha.
Glad it turned out fine! I would not have been brave enough to try... not with the more expensive "dry clean only" items anyway haha. But otherwise I'm too lazy and the machine washes most things for me, dry clean hand wash only or not.
I'm glad it turned out well for you!! I was thinking I should do the same thing, do I really want to drop my expensive LV stoles off at the Dry cleaner and risk them damaging them, 'losing' them.. I dont know.. I have a lot of scarves/stoles to choose from so I rotate but I wash most of my other ones by hand, and dry clean very few that actually need it like Burberry... I dont think washing them by hand would be hard on them.
great info to share!!! I have dryel my leo stoles and silk squares/bandeaus and they came out fine...I did throw the graffiti pareo in the washing machine (put in mesh bag) and it was fine also...
