Yellow gold vs rose

I go based on my skin tone. For Cartier specifically, their rose gold is very subtle. I’d just try both and go with what you like better.
Like others have said, the color of your jewelry won’t be what gives away your age. On that note I should probably schedule an appointment to touch up my roots!:yucky::blush:

I am 100% a YG girl. I get the most compliments with YG. I think WG looks terrible on me, and thanks to a Michael Kors watch 10 years ago, I thought RG with a fad. With that said, last year, I bought a VCA necklace and fell in love with RG, then quickly added a RG small JUC to pair with my YG small love. Cartier's RG is super subtle (and beautiful!). The difference between the two golds is just enough for me to see and appreciate it.

Funny enough though, 10-15 years ago, my millennial friends and I considered YG to be "old" and WG/platinum to be "young". Then RG became trendy, and now my gen Z cousins tell me that YG is popular.

Don't you think that some make a woman even older? Regardless of skin tone
for decades I shunned YG or RG bc I thought it was too mature. This year, age 54, DH and my independent jeweler told me they both thought YG was much more youthful and flattering on my medium olive skin. I was like, um, could you not have told me this years ago? My DH who is a pale Caucasian, looks best in SS, WG, or platinum watches. I now wear all three gold colors. I will say, diamond jewelry looks younger and more casual/ less blingy in RG
My GM whose hair color was salt and pepper, black, white, grey, favored WG with diamonds and very large white SS pearls. It looked good.

after all the trials and errors, i basically define myself as YG skin tone. it compliments me all seasons. although i tend to wear anything with diamond in WG, for example my LOVE bracelet that has diamonds is in WG as well as my solitaire and etc. same works with vca i choose YG for non-diamond designs such as alhambra motif bracelets and necklaces

I think that the great thing about Cartier's pink gold is that it's not overly rosy/pink, which makes it very subtle. A lot of the time, until they're next to each other, its hard to even tell them apart. It's a subtle hint of colour which will compliment certain skin tones beautifully
