Surprisingly, none of my 24k gold pieces are dented. I'm sure they have some hairline scratches, but nothing even remotely noticeable by normal means. I think the 18k will suit my needs. Now I just need to hunt down an actual piece I like. I'm not sure if I should go the "chunky" route or the more refined route. Ideally, I guess I should get something more simplistic/timeless...at least for now
