I really like it as it is! It's very feminine and almost has a lacy look to it, like a diamond doily.
I would ask our resident diamond expert, Ame.
Guess it depends on what the ring is for. If it's an engagement ring I would likely remove the marquise and use them to make something else. If it's a right hand ring I would definitely leave them, because I think it looks pretty cool and definitely unique!
I rather like it the way it is. As was mentioned, removing the outer halo would make the piece look like a million other halo rings. The unusual marquise halo is very delicate and beautiful and it is what makes the ring different and worth having, IMO. Then again, I am far more of an unusual/statement jewelry person than a classic jewelry person.
I like it better without the outer stones. They don't enhance the beauty of the center stone.
It is very unusual and unique. It's a beautiful ring. I love it!
I keep coming back to look at this pic. It's truly beautiful and unique, and I wouldn't change a thing!
It's beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing. It's unique, definitely a statement piece. Something you would want to look at again..reminds me of a heirloom piece. Please keep the design.![]()
I have to say that I like the marquis too. I think it's because when I imagine the ring without it the square halo would seem too sharp and harsh.
It is flashy but I think it's still doable, you can pull it off girl!
ps: the marquis halo is what adding to the elegance of the ring, without it I don't think the ring would be as special or as fairy-likeI vote to keep it.
