Wow, look what you can get at Costco!

Well in my opinion, the fact that Costco couldn't get more than one is a TOTAL fail. Lol! It is the bulk store...
A couple years ago I got a diamond Raymond Weil watch (name?) at BJ's. It was normally $2500 for $1000. I happened to be looking for a watch exactly like this for my birthday at the time. I was very nervous about buying it BJ's so I went to my local jeweler who had the watch to see if they would match the price. Huge mistake, the jeweler pitched a fit about how they were the only one's who could sell RW in x amount of miles and he was going to complain, blah blah blah. Needless to say I got back in the car and drove back to buy it before it was gone. I asked why they only had one and was told sometimes they get merchandise from small stores(Jewelers especially) who are going out of business. I've never had any trouble from the watch.

Last week I was doing a google search on pink diamonds and Costco's website came up with a couple of pink diamond rings for many, many thousands of dollars!!! I see now they are gone- so I guess they got sold... Somehow I'd never think to go to Costco to purchase a $50,000 dollar ring.

Much more intrigued now that it's turning out to be GIA...

Do you all feel the price is fair? Not that I'm buying. I'm just curious...
My hubby is making payments on an IF diamond. It is only a G color, not an F, and only 1.30 carats, not 4, but in relation i feel the price of this one is too high.

Beautiful!

I bought diamond studs at BJs for my daughter for $199 and a local jeweler looked at them and said they'd go for $450 so I think they have a good supplier.

Oops, my mistake- it was Sam's Club, not Costco- and it was $90,000.00 dollars!

yes, the price is "fair" considering it's color and being internally flawless. It's not a steal, nor is it overpriced compared to similar stones.
It's crazy to me though. . . mine is 3.67 crts and I could easily tell people it's IF, lol! All the sudden people will assume we paid over $200,000!
CRAZY!

She was making a joke :D Considering Costco is the king of selling things in bulk :p
I think I got it, BJ's is also a huge buy in bulk shopping club. It's just if you see something you like you shouldn't assume they have a large inventory. I never thought I'd end up buying a watch like that from there, so God knows what other's end up buying.

You'll be surprise how many rich people buy from Costco... umm..Amex gold card (unlimited credit limit), Executive Costco membership.

That diamond is listed at a fair price. It may even go up. Prices of gold and diamonds are at an all time high this month.

Internally Flawless is great on paper. Excellent cut? That means that diamond is very sparkly IRL and very clear white since it's a D color as well.

Opps ...Amex black card I mean - not gold. The best plastic card out there for people who have it. ;)
