Kate Spade Would you sell a KS bag on ebay?

I have sold KS and many brands on ebay, have bought many too, for 8 years. It is safer than ever, years ago , there were problems, not too many now. Consignment stores keep way too much of your money, ebay is better. Show 12 pix, people love pix, give all dimensions, point out any problems, no matter, tell the truth about condition. They make it pretty easy to learn to sell. Remember, as a buyer, you want a bargain, so don't mark super high, you are not going to get back what you paid, unless you bought really low on ebay and resell later and get lucky. I bought a bag once for 200, used it a bit and resold on ebay for 380. That does not happen often, but it can be a great place to shop and sell. Good Luck

I have sold Kate Spade, Coach and Michael Kors on eBay. It scares me to death when I have sold LV. I think you are more likely to be scammed with the higher end bags. But even the 4 LVs I have sold, I did not have issues with the transactions.

I have sold bags I don't use anymore on eBay with no issues or problems. EBay allows 12 pictures, use it. Be honest in your description, be sure to list bag dimensions, including strap drop. Price fairly and if possible go with free shipping. I've sold Burberry, Balenciaga, Coach and Dooneys. I mail USPS Priority that includes tracking.

Thanks for all the replies everyone.
I actually went ahead and sent one of my never-used KS bags to Rebelle. Just waiting to hear back from them and see what price they sell it at.
I also listed a used KS on ebay, but I got an annoying user who kept giving me low-ball offers and I was worried they'd buy it then claim something was wrong / damage it themselves and try to get a paratial refund.

Just block them, any gut feelings they are going to be a PITA and they are blocked

I sold something recently for 10% less than she had offered, but it was worth

Buy now with best offer tend to work better for me too, i always price a fair bit higher so allow for negotiation and allows you to vet buyers too

I did end up blocking. But it has made me very nervous. I don't use ebay often, only sold a few t-shirts and tops on there before, all for less than £20 each. I don't have much experience of selling larger ticket items, and reading some of the stories on the ebay forum has really put me off using ebay to sell.

Absolutely understand, I've sold items from £20-£600 over the last 10 years, I am more cautious now more than ever, but I think some of the horror stories are more non UK sellers and buyers.

For consignment in U.K. I can totally recommend labels most wanted and naughty pidgens nest

I have not heard of those, will take a look. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've sold a ton of things on eBay since 1998 (when I was in high school!!), including a Kate Spade bag, and have never had a scam. You hear about the bad stories online, but millions of transactions take place without issues.

Remember that people complain more than they compliment , so for every person with a bad experience far more had good ones. It is scary reading about problems , but there are so many good results.
