Would you rummage through trash for a Coach Gift Card?

Gah. My husband got me a $250 coach gift card for Valentine's Day and I cannot find it. I had it in my purse for the longest time as I'd occasionally stop in at the coach store. But I guess in switching out purses, I lost it at some point. I've looked all the places I can think of and the only place left is the trash. And if I did throw it out accidentally, it might not even have been in this week's trash but trash long gone. So I might be rummaging through it all for nothing. And then what is the best strategy to rummage through garbage? Do I dump it all out and put it back in one by one? Do I just pick it out of one bag and put it in another as I go?

Argh.

I would! Is that bad? Or another thought, does he have a receipt from purchasing? If so, I wonder if he can call and "cancel" that gift card if the number is on there and they could issue another? Or if he paid by credit card, could they help you out?

I would. Take the trash outside and dump it all out and then go through each piece

Just wear some gloves! Lol But if you can’t find it I’d try to call and see if they can cancel it and reissue like @ShopGirl1986 mentioned.

Thanks everyone. I think I just needed some moral support. I did call and they can reissue the card if my husband has the receipt - I am really hoping not to have to tell him that I lost his gift though.

Off to find my rubber gloves.....

Lady, $250 is a lot of $$! Depending on when you shop, it'll either by you a bag, or at least a wallet. My penguin market tote came to right around that amount. Good luck and let us know how that went!!
