I would purchase the cherry blossom ones in a heartbeat but I wasn't too big of a fan of the multicolor monogram. I would probably still get a piece or two if it looked like something I would wear, but if I had to choose one Murakami theme to come back then it would be cherry blossom.

I really dislike it, even though I love colour more than the average person. I think the problem is that when it came out, I wasn't that into bags and didn't live in a place where many people had designer bags. So I never saw an original piece - but it was the go-to design for low quality fakes and copycat bags. So I have these teenage memories of ugly white pleather bags with blurry multicoloured print on them, instead of memories of cute and desirable colourful bags.

I love the few multicolore pieces that I have. I'm not sure that I would want to see it reissued, to be honest. Unless we're taking a trip back to the early 2000s in terms of design and quality, I think I'd prefer just to seek out more pieces pre-loved.
