Would you carry this bag still?

I'd have to ask my friend how the bag came to be in that shape. Like what the heck did she do to the poor thing? I hope she at least apologized for ruining your bag. And then I'd never let her borrow anything from me again.

If I borrowed a friend's bag and something happened to it, I'd return it and ask how much it cost so I could give her the money to replace the bag.

Don't throw it away...maybe use it to hold wallets and wristlets?

I would not use it. I like this idea above or see if you can peel off the rest of the applique and use it that way. That is a shame

Thanks everyone! I have been studying for exams so wasn't on here. I really appreciate all the responses. Yea I was quite angry frankly have had that bag for a while and not even a single dirt mark on it, then she borrows it and it looks trashed to me. The applique is plastic feeling or think screen printing to me. And it is just the edges, but to me it ruins the whole look

She asked to borrow stuff lately and I told her Um no!!! LOL!

No one knows what to do to fix it. so sad, I loved this bag so much!

Is that applique made of paper??? I wouldn't carry the bag with that damage, unless as a beach tote or something. Did your friend say what happened to it?

NO! That's what makes me mad, she didn't even try to say anything or offer to fix it, replace it, nothing! Needless to say she doesn't come around me much anymore.

if it bothers you that much then probably no. I still think you could probably use it for something though, like the above poster said, a beach tote, school tote, for road trips? To me its not in bad enough condition to actually throw it away. Not familiar with the outlets so I don't know if they would have it, but this is a pretty old style right? Otherwise try ebay, but if its used it may have the same problem.

Yes it's an older style. I bought it brand new from the store and it still looked brand new when she borrowed it (in the dustbag!) LOL.

And honestly I'm so angry at Coach for saying "normal wear and tear" that I am definitely never buying anything from them again that has applique on it.
