It's not for me, but if you love it and it'll work well with your style then go ahead. If you think you'll wear it lots and have such fun looking at those happy diamonds then go for it - but if you're having doubts think for another few weeks and look at other options.

As others have said lady's watches don't really hold their price well unless extraordinary and/or precious metals.
Those happy diamonds and red heart do make me smile! But yeah I’m going to sit this one out for now.

I’ll have a look at it in person at Chopard first and if I still desire it after a few months then maybe it’s meant to be. We’ll see! I’ll keep everyone posted.

The watch is beautiful but Chopard sadly does not as a rule appreciate over time. It loses fifty percent of its value once its purchased and the secondary market for chopard products especially watches is not very high. If u wish to purchase this as an investment brand then Rolex and Cartier have the best secondary market. If u wish to purchase it simply as a beautiful piece to enjoy wearing and cherishing then I would say go ahead. I once almost purchased a rose gold Chopard watch from their happy diamonds series and at that time I looked into which brands appreciated over time. Sadly Chopard is not one of them although I feel personally their watches are stunning and by far the most beautiful. Thats why I couldn't bring myself to go for Rolex or Cartier since for such a high end purchase I feel u need to really love the product itself. I would go for this if u love the watch for its own self
Thanks for the deets!

I have a few watches that appreciated in value over time and I feel like getting something that makes me smile this time around. This watch looks very cute (based on pics) and I have a feeling it will uplift my mood and energy whenever I’ll wear it.

I’m gonna have to take a look at this watch in person first though and see if I still like it. I do find it kind of odd that there aren’t many pics of it online - it’s just stock photos. I guess it’s not a very popular watch - which I am fine with.

Anyway, I do think that what’s going to hold me back eventually from getting this watch is knowing that its value will not appreciate over time. I would have to take it for what it is - a fun cute novelty watch.

It is wise to buy jewelry and watches you love and not for "resale" or "appreciation." if you love, it, get it.
We don't know how long we have here, enjoy your TIME!

I have Rolex, Cartier and Bulgari watches and am looking to add a fun piece to my collection.

Yeah I think this watch is more of a fun novelty type. Something to wear when I’m feeling playful and whenever I feel like wearing my heart on my sleeve - lol.
Great since you have your serious watch arm covered then definitely have some fun. I

My opinion is that this is a lovely, fun, whimsical, luxury watch.
Not a ‘novelty’ watch.
I associate the word ‘novelty’ as made from less precious materials or as a fashion item masquerading as another like for example a moschino jacket bag or perhaps a Judith Leiber miniaudiere.
This watch is a watch and doesn’t pretend to be anything else, and the fine materials (diamonds, presumably natural diamonds) escalates it.
I love the sexy red colour and I think the moving diamonds add appeal. I love it.

I have never considered resale when buying my personal items. In fact before I came to this forum it never occurred to me. I’m not a dealer lol, selling my personal things. I’m a person who loves fashion. But perhaps it is sensible and prudent to think of what other people would pay? But I don’t really like to plan to dress for or like other people so… hm a quandary.

Omgoodness. That is so cute! I am not a heart person but I am drawn to it!

I have a chopard watch that was gifted to me on my wedding day, 13 yrs ago. It’s the smallest face happy sport. I loved wearing it back then but when bigger watches became popular, in the jewelry box it went.

I’ve taken it out recently, as I’ve been enjoying my smaller face watches more. They are thinner and don’t get in the way of things like my Rolex does.
