Worth it? Or too trendy?

You said you loved it when you first saw it, which is a really good indicator that this is a special bag for you. Forget "classic", more importantly, if it's "you" then it's worth the investment. I have things that may not be classic but are "classically me" so I don't care if they are in or out. :D

The price is more than 50% off, which seems good. If you get it and decide you don't love it, you can always return it.

I 100% agree.

I think it's a "trademark" bag. It will say a lot about you and you may be identified by it. If that feels right, then go for it if you love it.

It doesn't work for me because I don't identify with it. I think if you identify with the style and if you think it suits you, then it is not trendy - it is a bold expression of your style.

I agree with the others, you saw it at full price and loved it, now it's on sale at a great price, what's not to love?

You don't have your sale goggles on for this one

Just ask yourself will I regret not getting it?

I tried this bag during the semi-annual sale and marveled at the leatherwork, especially the beautiful weave on the bottom. Even though the colors didn't work with my wardrobe, I still felt this was one of those bags with an almost one-of-a-kind craftsmanship and quality increasingly rare these days with Coach. It's definitely a collector's piece independent of trends - to appreciate close-up, since from a distance, the workmanship is not so readily visible. At the current price, its worth a try if you are drawn.

Nay from me. Sorry if i come across as blunt but your question is right on - Is this classy for its price? my honest answer is no. I agree with others about waiting to see if its price would go further down.
