Worried about sending bag in for repair

Just thought I'd chime in with my experience with Coach repair. One of my Soho crossbodies had the stitches coming lose on the front slip pocket, I sent it in through my local store and it came back to me looking perfect. You can't tell now that it had ever had an issue. They also packed it very nicely for the return back to me with the same tissue padding that they use when you buy a new bag. I'm not sure if they have more than one repair center, but maybe they do since our experiences were so vastly different.

I have a washed red rogue with popped stitches in a couple places. I have been going back and forth if I should send it in. It’s within the year of purchase- but if they screw it up, I’m just out, right?

I sent in a melon tea rose Rogue 25 for reglazing within warranty.
There were like 13 spots circled. I even drew them a colour-coded diagram, it was cute.

It was sent back stuffed loosely in tissue to the store, where they unpacked it with me and went over the "repairs" (they only repaired the most glaring one where the sides stretch as you access the suede pockets), then the store gift boxed it for me.

I'm not impressed with the "repair" but I can't fault them for the way the bag was handled. Plus there is an additional one year warranty on the "repaired" spots so I might try it again later.

What exactly is a popped stitch and how does it affect the bag? I have a popped stitch on the back of my Swagger 27 w/ rivets. Right on the edge seam where the leather is stitched down (they wrapped the edges with leather instead of glazing them).
Is a popped stitch a cosmetic concern? Or if I leave it will the whole seam unravel?
