ew no wtf??? Would you not feel the diamonds in your eyeballs when you blinked??? Also wouldn't they need to be thrown away every so often because of bacteria and all...

I would never ever ever want something like this. I can see it becoming a wedding trend though. I can totally picture people buying them specifically to wear in their wedding, then saving them in some keepsake box. Lol. Ick.
Also, contacts can't be worn forever, right? I wear one month ones, but even the non disposables get replaced annually I think.
I'm going to guess that they can probably reinstall the diamonds into the new lens? I can't believe people would be willing to buy these for $15000
Having made the transition from soft to hard contact lenses about a year ago, I cannot IMAGINE how uncomfortable these would be. I mean, soft contacts feel like a dream in your eye, but hard contacts are a terrible tickling and/or painful feeling that you eventually learn to block out. These lenses are based off of some pretty hardcore special hard contacts, and I would imagine that you wouldn't be able to just pop them in and out -- you'd probably have to train yourself to be able to wear them over a few months. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.
