Agreed, I work at premier designer boutique and yes the discounts make you think it's not a bad idea to buy...you're making money anyway...;)

Congrats.. . on the new position, I normally visit the Georgetown store at least once a month...and everyone that I have met appear to be very nice...

eek I know! I'm committed to paying off my credit card though. I have a great job, but DC is soo expensive (and so is my shopping habit), so we'll see! Wish me luck! :p

Lol i work in retail as well and it can be very tempting. I work at a shoe store and you don't even want to know how many shoes i own.

Hey since you already have a weekday job if it even pays for your shopping/bag habit i would say it's still worth it.

i just wanted to ask you a quick question. i am a kate spade fanatic and would love a job there, my local ks outlet is hiring and i plan to bring in my resume. any tips for what to wear and interview hints? i have worked retail before as a keyholder/manager for a year now at the same store so i wanted to ask :) thank you!

I didn't have an in person interview. My phone interview was more like a conversation about the brand and the work environment. What I would say though is dress in the spirit of KS. We are not required to wear Kate but cannot wear obvious competitor brands. Hope this helps!

thank you so much! very appreciated. ill be sure to express my enthusiasm for ks, it has taken me by storm in the past year and i have so many ks bags, wallets, accessories hehe :D
