I don't have a style preference for the seasons.

And, for the most part, I'll wear shades of any color year round. But, for each color, I choose a deeper, richer shade. Berry pinks instead of cotton candy pink. Cobalt & navy blue vs. sky blue. Emerald and hunter green vs. grass or lime green.

More importantly, however, it's the handbag's material that make me more or less likely to carry a bag in one season vs. another.

Fall / winter is the season in which I pull out richer fabrics like pony and calf hair, fur trims, and exotics. I also love wearing the more embellished bags for the holiday seasons - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years , Valentine's Day. Those times are when bags with crystals, jewels, feathers, metal adornments, etc. are perfect!!!

(Oh, and I won't carry materials like straw or jute in cold weather. Those "feel" like spring / summer.)

What colors complement your winter coats? I say this as I'm likely purchasing a blue cold weather coat so I can wear my Azur bag year round [emoji4]

Vernis & Epi are great bc the weather wipes right off. I also have a Longchamp that I take folded up as a "handbag raincoat" if the weather's going to be questionable [emoji299]

My cloth winter coats are cream, red and black so anything goes with them (but no red with the red). I live where it gets really cold Dec - Mar so, unless I'm going to work, I also wear furs. Those are also neutrals (brown, black, cream, grey) so anything goes with them - although I don't like to wear anything with a shoulder strap because those would rub the fur.

I wear mostly all black and almost all of my bags are black (or neutrals/dark colors that go well with black) so I don't really have seasonal bags. On days with heavy rain or snow I'm more prone to carrying a canvas LV bag rather than a leather one that could get ruined easily.
