I know I'm in the minority here, but I love the suit and color. It looks gorgeous on her imo.
I like that her pants are hemmed. Perfectly.
I’m not crazy about the notch lapel. I think a peak would have been so much more flattering and equally classic.
While the color would not be my pick, she looks good in it. It’s a change from dark saturated jewel tones.

My first thought was how nice to see father and son together 'on duty' as it were without their wives.
