I see the pic on the bench with Charles and Camilla with new eyes now that the terrorizing of toddlers story has been reintroduced. Even though TW was right behind her, Charlotte was safe because Camilla had her arm wrapped protectively around her and was probably distracting her to help her refocus (ex: don’t think about TW, look at that cute squirrel over there!)

Really stupid piece of writing and it's boring too. I had to force myself to push through it. Nobody I know would loan anybody a lip gloss because it's unsanitary. It isn't any more complicated than that.
I've never shared lip gloss/lipstick with anyone ever, even my mother or sister. When my daughter was young, she'd sneak into my makeup bag and use some to play with, but given it was my own daughter at age 5-10 or so, I didn't mind. Now that my daughter is 17, she thinks it's absolutely disgusting (never asks to use mine) and cannot stand it when her friends ask if they can use hers. She usually kindly declines or just gives it to them to keep. It's not racist or a dig against TW. It's gross.
I don't share drinks with anyone either, except maybe DH rarely once in awhile.
