When I am at store I cant control myself of buying things. But why it will hurt my profile though, the money will eventually go back to store right and my sa still get commission too.
Multiple returns and regrets can result from impulsive shopping (in general) One comprehensive answer as to why multiple returns might hurt a profile client side is below by @WhiteBus
However, I would like to add some points expressed by various SAs over the years. It’s hard to comprehend that an SA isn’t entirely all about commission, but she CAN be dinged in a performance review if she has clients that repeatedly return. A store manager does NOT like to see multiple regret returns by the same kind of customer. This kind of behavior can reflect poorly on an SAs ability to manage or read her clients.
One other point is also that the SA not only wasted her time initially selling an item that is returned; she also has to process the return when it comes back. The pressure on SAs to sell is intense, and time is money. I am not sure how a store credit would be processed in terms of commission, but I would imagine it’s not as easy s allowing an SA to keep the commission, IDK.
As a customer, how would you feel if you thought that items you bought had been sold previously, been taken away from the store for some days, subsequently returned and then sold to you?
If, as an SA, you had a client who you associated with buying items and then returning them,
wouldn't that make you wonder if any sale to that client would end up being returned?
Can you not see why that would compromise your association with any SA.
Stores do not want to have returned goods to go back into stock to be sold.
Nor can all returned goods be automatically assigned to a sale rack.
