I think you should wear what you like at the end of the day, but personally I find that ring too wide for my tastes. Mine is 3mm and I would really have preferred 2mm but the width of my e-ring dictated what I chose for my wedding band. However, I'm sure you can rock the look and what is most important is that YOU love your ring.

^great ring! And I like you San Marcos bracelet too; you must be a yellow gold lover like me!

Thank you!

I love my San Marco. I have owned it forever, it's one of those pieces of jewelry that to me is simply perfect!

I do wear alot of yellow gold but I like to mix yellow with white. On my right wrist is my two tone Rolex with several cartier bracelets :smile1:

The ring you posted is unique and classy. I don't think you need to worry about what others think in this case. As long as you have no issues with the comfort of wearing a wide ring, go ahead!

And thanks to all of your opinions. My husband also seems to understand that we choose the rings we like because WE will be wearing them (hopefully for the rest of our lives).

Anyway, some more pictures of similar rings would be highly appreciated:smile1:

Thanks!

Thanks for your support. I agree that wide band rings are really classy and timeless.

I have found my dream ring now (like in the attachment).

There is similar ring here:

Decided to go with 12mm ;)

Anyway, we need some more pictures of wide wedding bands here :P

Congratulations. You will love it!

Just a note about sizing - you will definately have to go up in size due to the width of the ring. Not sure if you are buying locally or online but if you can, try it on in person prior to purchase to ensure the proper size.

My diamond ering is a size 6.75 and is 3mm wide. My 12mm band is size 8

Thank you for sharing your experience about sizing. We just ordered the rings from local goldsmith. He checked that the size will be right :)
