Kate because of you I have been introduced to so many fabulous bags. I never would have known about them because up to three years ago i didn't even know about Coach!

Absolutely! Your rehab threads snagged me from my first day here at tPF. I love, love, love these older bags I'm seeing you and others rehab...and the bonus for me, they're smaller and a better fit for me and my lifestyle.

So far, I haven't tried my hand at a rehab but I'm sorely tempted and have my eye on the perfect bag, per your suggestions Katev...dark color, in fairly good shape and cheap! LOL

In the meantime, I've bought three older bags in excellent shape and at a good price, I must add, and I love carrying them. My friends can't believe they're older Coach bags!

as always - pristine job! Beautiful bag. And VERY good point!!

I thought of you yesterday while I was thrifting, there was a beat up old Coach and they only wanted $3.99 for it...I thought hmm i know somebody who could definitely bring this poor thing back to life!! :)

Thanks, I think that she looks great! But it helps a lot when you are starting with high-quality materials in good condition!
