Why, oh why, does sell to a KNOWN reseller?

I think I know which reseller you are referring to. I follow one who posted a picture of a birkin with the offer to sell. This was in Las Vegas. I do have to say I thought the reseller had balls posting the bag immediately for sale on IG immediately after purchase.

Yes!!! That's where my irritation lies. I looked it and said wowww

There was a reseller a while back who stalked the "finds" thread. Whenever someone posted something from the website, she'd snap it up, immediately post a listing with a photo of an orange box on ebay, then update the listing with the item's actual photo when she received it a couple days later. It was getting pretty obvious who it was.

Sorry to say, I'm reluctant to post finds any more.

Wow! I am actually amused by this. Anyhow, most of the finds are seem to be from H.com nowadays.

Right. From H.com. Something would come up like a matte graphite gator CDC with gold hardware. Someone would post in the finds thread and "POOF" it would be gone. Immediately search on ebay for "matte graphite gator CDC with gold hardware", and there would be the listing - with only a photo of an orange box, only to be updated a couple days later with the actual item.

LOL!:laugh: Sorry I had to laugh at this effort! But I think H.com is now imposing some limits to try to cramp this down.

I had forgotten about that. I post occasionally in 'finds' these days, usually from ebay but I did take a break when I realized most of the people watching were guests rather than members.

I forgot the reseller's name, but when she got called out on tPF, she signed in with another name and tried to defend her "friend", or something like that.

I don't remember who either just the situation.

And imo to be expected that sellers or outside people will watch and buy to resell if it comes up.
Just when it dawned on me how many were not 'us' :D it was a bit of a shocker.
Remember when we could see who was hanging out in each thread? :graucho: good times

Wow, I didn't know that people are daring enough to be posting photos right from the store. I thought no photos are allow even though you're purchasing the item but I guess people are quick to their phones.

My SA told me that her store knows some resellers and are willing to sell them to meet the store quota. Even though the SA doesn't get commissions for Bs & Ks, the amount is added to the SA's monthly quota so it still helps. Some SAs just turn a blind eye as long as it helps them with their monthly limits, given that H has turned up the limit now with less bags to distribute.

Photos not from the store, just a pic of an orange box. Later when she received the item, she'd post her own photos.

Still crazy. I remember that there was a time that when we posts H.com finds, the picture from the website will show up within the same day on eBay from the reseller. The seller has not even received the item but already is listing... sigh.....

No, photos are allowed. I've seen people click away with their phones the minute they enter the premises. It was embarrassing at one point, followed by hardly a purchase. Smh.
