I got that e-mail at work today. I couldn't resist clicking on it but I was making sure no one was watching me the whole time.
It is SO beautiful and classic. If I could afford it, I'd do it in a minute. Unlike bags, you don't need multiple, one will be perfect for years and years.

i love how it has it's own section on the Bal website...it's like a league of its own.

I'm just staring at it right now...i really want it. Maybe if I didn't buy anything else for a few months...but it probably won't be available anymore then.

the scheming is starting....how can i get it??? :thinkin:

Just charge it and call it a XMAS present. Email ALL who GIVE you a xmas present and tell them, JUST SEND CASH.. you are buying me THIS.

I DID have a niece who did that one year w/ a pair of boots she bought at Barney's and I was honestly HAPPY to just send her a contribution to her brand new boots. Might work??

I just started my Bal collection this year...it's not quite large enough to sacrifice two! I sacrificed one and that's literally paying my rent next month...wow I'm pathetic (I dug myself back into debt on the RTT).

And I'm sitting here in my head saying that the leather jacket looks really warm...I could justify practicality....

^^ Wait! Debt is a scary thing!!!

I think the Christmas present (early) is a great idea though... and also, each winter, I buy myself a new coat. Granted, my coats aren't ever as expensive as that lovelylovelylovely jacket...but you get the idea.

This could be your coat for like four winters. It is timeless after all!

Thanks for the advice! It's kind of sad to think but I don't really get presents anymore! I have the smallest family ever...plus I'm Jewish and don't celebrate Xmas. I could definitely get money from my parents though!

Do you all think this will still be available in a few months? I could try to save up...

Haha, your niece sounds like me. I ask for my birthday and X-mas presents about two months in advance (which means, Rachey, you're right on time according to my watch).

But it sucks, when my birthDAY and X-mas Day rolls around -- I have nothing. :shrugs:
