Again, not true. Even a D Flawless can be milky and tinted.D colour is always colorless and tint free.
It's usually either due to natural body color or clarity issues (i.e. darker inclusions) and sometimes related to flourescence.My assumption is that the diamonds appear grey due to the carbon in them.
Golconda white diamonds?
Yes diamonds can definitely have body color. Usually the only tones that negatively affect "white/colorless" diamonds are yellow/brownish tints. They can lean a few ways and its not a distinctly obvious tint in all cases either.
In terms of your bracelet, Id just wager those are low-clarity, probably poorly cut diamonds over just body-tint. Or the seats for each stone were not super clean before they were set.
