It's the calf leather, so soft, not super stiff at all. I'm so sad it's rainy here right now, hopefully when we go to LA Wed it will be sunny so I can take some mod shots.

Did anyone else have trouble buying one? I was logged on right when they became available on the site. When it reached the checkout page to put in my info, before 5 a min or so, it would reset. Happened about 3x. Soooooo sad, I'm in love with cammello color!

I would just use some leather conditioner on it (I use black rock leather n rich on mine), it'll make the scratch fade back into the leather so you won't notice it as much.
I have both cammello and black buckets, and the cammello will get a ton of scratches on it with normal wear (even a finger nail can scratch it). After using it for a week, I doubt you'll even notice the initial scratch. It's worth it though - the patina on mine is gorgeous now
Thanks for the advice! I might put some conditioner on it after using it for a few days without first, just to enjoy it in this colour before it starts to patina!

It's gorgeous! Mine has that same exact scratch - from where, idk! But, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It should fade into the patina eventually. I know it's alarming at first, but these bags are prone to scratches and what not. Enjoy your beautiful bag!
Oh yes, it is exactly the same! I'm thinking maybe they tied the drawstring really tightly and is somehow caused an indentation..
