It's called the midday and only comes in one style. I love mine! It's a nice, feminine shape and I think it is made better than other bbags. The leather is thicker.

Your pup and kitty are so cute roey!

Will a midday go on the shoulder over a light coat? If the dimensions are roughly 15x10 (almost like a city) I can't figure out why it looks much "boxier" than a city. Does it look different IRL maybe?

As for the midday, I live in AZ where jackets are rarely required. I would say it depends on the size of your arms. The handles are not super snug on me but I think with a light coat they may be tight depending on the material.

The reason it looks boxier than the city is because it's much wider at the base. The shape reminds me of a pear-shaped woman the way it gathers in the middle and widens toward the bottom. The leather is gathered at the sides, and much thicker than the leather on a city. There is so much more leather and detail that makes up the midday. My SGH city feels flimsy in comparison.

By chance, is your midday evergreen,roey?

I'm wondering what the leather is like in that color. Specifically I'm wondering if evergreen tends to be "veiny" or not. Anyone have any insight?

^^ Most the Evergreens I've seen tend to consistently have good leather. They seem to be smoother, and even, not too much distressing if any.

I'd say on a whole: Evergreen is a safe color. At least the ones I've seen around these parts have looks very very decent.

I let go of the Midday some time ago when I started collecting because I really wanted something deep navy blue (officier in the midday), but ended up sticking with a marine SGH PT. I think the Midday has a very elegant, lady-like structure to it. It looks nice handheld. However, when comparing to another bag similar to it, I like the work style more because it had more room (the top part of the midday are folds that gives the illusion of more room, but it's just height). From my memory, I think the handle drop of the midday is the same as the work.

Also, I liked how pillowy works break in. I'd imagine with midday it's slightly more structured... but I never got that far in finding out.

All in all, I think it's a style worth trying if you like handheld/shoulder big bags :) HTH!
